Baby Girl

So today was one of the most painful, yet blessing days of my life. We went into the hospital on Friday at 330 pm so I could be induced. Well we were in for a long night after getting medication to get things going. I waited 12 hours to find the medicine had not helped. At 430 am I started having contractions. I got patossen around 8 or 9 am to help get my contractions really going. The whole time I was still dilated a 2. So then at around 12 I could stand the pain no more and received an edpidural while dilated to a 3. I fell a sleep for a couple hours and woke to a sharp pain in my lower back. The nurse came in ordered me more pain meds and decided to check me again. Well I had gone from a 3 to an 8. The pain stopped in my lower back, but my left hamstring was no longer numb. So I knew when cotractions were coming cause of the pain in my upper leg. Well I started pushing around 330 ish and our beautiful baby girl came into the world at 439pm. It was so hard keeping up the you can do it attitude, but I had great support team my Mom, sister Jess, Boston, my amazing OB, and nurse. She came and I could hardly believe she was mine and came out of me. She is 7lbs 13oz and 21 inches. She had a little hair but this amazing big eyes. She just took in all around her. I can't believe I have a baby and thank the Lord for giving me such a great early Christmas Present. She is a joy and can't imagine me life with out her.
