How time flies

So last week I lost track of the days and Wednesday was here and I could swear it was only Monday. I can't believe how time flies. Katelyn is almost two months old and is starting to make more fun noises and trying to roll over. She loves to just look over your shoulder when you are holding her so she can check out what is going on. She is such a curious little girl. We have found she loves laying on her Changing table. She will lay there for 30 minutes and stare out the window and talk to herself. It is so fun being a mom and I love being with her and watching her grow. She has taught me a lot of patients over the past few months and Boston is also has had a few lessons of patients too. He hates when she screams and would rather put her in her crib then take the time to find out what is wrong. One day he came home took her from me so I could have a break and the next thing you know she was screaming. I waited a few minutes went up stairs and asked if he wanted me to take her. He was holding her close and rocking her trying to get her to stop. Then he looked at me and said " No, I am learning patients." Next thing you know she was a sleep:) What a great guy. He is having more fun with her now that she interacts a little more. He is always laying on the floor playing with her. I couldn't ask for a better person to have as my companion.

Katelyn had slept through the night 3 days in a row. I still woke up a few times and listened to make sure I hadn't slept through her crying. It was weird not having to get up to feed her in the middle of the night. She has lost most of her beautiful hair and has only a thick strip on the back of her head. Poor little one. It is growing back in but definitely is taking a bit. She has been a little colicky and I swear her toots can clear the room. I never thought a baby could stink so bad. Boston said she has man farts... poor thing. We have been trying everything to try to get the continuous gas machine to stop. It is hard since she is mostly on formula and we have put her on the Gas Infamil that is suppose to help with Colic. We are trying a new bottle that has made a little difference, and also gas drops and Gripe Water. So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to advise what may work.

As for Boston and I we are both doing great. Boston continues to work hard to meet our needs and I am taking my Human Anatomy Class so I can get closer to applying for nursing school. As for the Maternity Insurance I have mentioned a couple times. We have received partial payment and are waiting on the rest. So for all you out there who are planning on having a baby. Try using the maternity insurance through Aflac. You can go to Maternityarizona.com and it will tell you more about it. Well that is pretty much it for now. Hope everyone is well and if you click on this album below there are updated pictures of Katelyn.
