What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?

NOPE! So we came to Vegas for The Monster Truck Finals... I came to see our cousins Misti and Ryan. While spending quality time with some amazing people. My brother in law Brooks, his fiance Sarah, and his daughter Brooklyn. Then we have James and Myrna Ziegler and one of my favorite Sunbeams Jesse. Finally we get to hang out with Kent Shreeve. Can't say enough good things about him. I must say my husband has amazing friends. I am sitting here at the Hotel with Katelyn and they are all at the Monster Trucks Show and I thought I would post some pictures of our trip so far. Well Yesterday we went to the first day of Monster Trucks. Katelyn and I only went to the meet the drivers part. Here are a few pictures and you can see how much she enjoyed it.

We also took Katelyn swimming and put her in an adorable swimsuit from Sarai. Was a tad big but she still looked cute. We forgot to get a picture of her actually in the water:(

This is how happy she was that we took her out of the pool and brought her back up stairs.

Then today we took Katelyn to the Mall and.....

WE GOT HER EARS PIERCED. I almost cried when they did it. She was so heartbroken that I could hold her down so they could pierce her ears, but she does look really cute. So that is the fun we have had in Vegas so far:)

To My Amazing Husband

So I just want to take a few quick seconds to let you all know how much I love my husband. I love that he stands by his convictions and does not care what people think when he stands up for the standards of the church. I sadly just don't say anything when someone may do something that they know is against our standards and the word of wisdom. I love that he is willing to bear his testimony and the truthfulness of what we are suppose to be doing with our lives. I know he does it cause he cares for the people in our lives. That he wants them to follow the counsel of the prophets. I am grateful for his loving example and the amazing man that he is. I love you Boston Robert Bryce!!!! Thank you for the AMAZING man that you are:)

Growing up...

So I have decided my daughter is too big already. She hates being held close to you. She has to be faced out to see what is going on and since she was a month old I swore she had a sensor on her that if you sat down and she wanted to be walked around to observe she would immediately start crying. So frustrating!!!

Now I have had fun playing with her and trying to get her to laugh. Weird thing is she laughs at the weirdest things and what made her laugh yesterday won't make her laugh today. So trying to figure this kid out is beyond me. She loves to talk to people. I try to get her to talk to me all day and she just smiles at me like I am the biggest dork in the world. However, If someone else walks in and starts talking to her she will coo and gurgle at them. So sad...

We have also found she loves to sing. In church when the congregations starts singing so does Katelyn. She does not like to be left out of anything. What a mix she is between me and her father.

I have to have Boston get the clips of her giggling on here for me. Oh also she has started rolling over and can almost sit up by herself. She also is starting to enjoy her exer-saucer I am sitting here watching her inspect each toy and what it does. She will then turn to the other side and start on the ones she hasn't looked at yet. So sad she won't just stay little and helpless. Next thing I know she will be running around the house!

Man I am horrible

So it has been forever since I posted and I will try to sum up everything so it is not a long post.

1. We had a baby shower in Heber in February and Katelyn was spoiled yet again. Thanks everyone for all the great gifts! She looks adorable in her outfits and will look cute in the ones she does not quite fit in. You guys are all amazing and we are so greatful for your kindness.

2. We blessed Katelyn last Sunday and it was a great day. My mom made her a beautiful dress and her dad did a great job on the blessing. She looked adorable and was blessed to have most of her Aunts and Uncles there.

3. Katelyn is getting big. She hates laying down and loves to be sitting up and the center of attention. Boston was playing with her last night and had her doing tummy time. Well he stood up and Katelyn pulled herself up on her arms to watch her dad. She is too long for her 3-6 month pajamas and she is only 3 months old. We measured her the other day and she is 24.5 inches and around 15lbs. I can't really remember when she was tiny like her baby pictures, but I guess such is life. I really enjoy her and being able to be home with her. She coos and giggles and loves to talk with anyone that will talk to her. She is such a fun baby.
