Boston is doing great he got promoted to Systems Administrator at his job and is loving his new position and working on servers for Ryzex. He is amazing at computers and has a great passion doing it. I am the same still working at University of Phoenix as an Enrollment Counselor and going to school for Business there. I have decided to go back to Nursing School and get my RN. I have to take my Human Anatomy Class and test then I can apply for Nursing Schools. Cross your fingers all goes well and I can get started in Nursing school in the Fall. We have been blessed this year and count our blessings everyday for our friends and family! We are so blessed to have all you in our lives.
Christmas!!
For Christmas we got to spend it with MY FAMILY;) It was tons of fun this was Boston's first white Christmas and he enjoyed playing in it. He was like a 2 year old. It worked out perfectly we were there with Jessica and her Family and also Ben. I love the Christmas season. Boston and I decided to help a family in the ward for Christmas instead of spending tons of money on each other. So we bought food and gifts for them. We had a lot of fun doing it. Boston is really good with kids and Taya loves playing with him. Here is a little video of them playing with each other.
We all got up at like 5 am to open gifts since Dad had to work. My dad had our Cousin do an amazing painting for her for Christmas. It shows my mom starring off in the distance and my dad in the back. It was awesome. Jess and I did a Shadow box for dad it had pictures of him from football and some football stuff. You know it is a good gift when dad gets teary eyed!!! We then just hung out together enjoyed each others company. AND THEN.... went sledding!!! It was a good time. We had Boston, Jessica, Nic, Brian, Cali, Tyler, Taya, Eric, and Rebecca Whipple. Oh and of course mom and dad but they did not go sledding. We drove to Forest Lakes and went off the side of the road there. Eric did not know what to think of it. It was funny he was whining when Brian was going to hill and Brian looked at him and said something along the lines of Eric you are the product of two roller coaster lovers this is not scary. Azure did love roller coasters and the adrenalin rush. How I miss her and how big her little boy is getting. He will walk to a picture of her and say momma. It makes me cry every time. Anyway we had a lot of fun and can't wait to go play again. Here are some pictures from our AMAZING time!
We did have a Christmas with Boston's family. Devin the youngest brother got home from his mission and I finally got to meet him on December 29th. He is a funny kid and very different from his brothers. He went to the Puebla Mexico Mission and has a been a great example to his family. Boston and I got spoiled this year and probably didn't deserve any of it, but are grateful for it all anyway. Then we brought in the New Year at Lori's house with her family. We hope that everyone had a splendid 2008 and an even better 2009! Love you all and stay posted I will update on our house (for Jessi Pease)and also send a link to watch my husbands amazing Christmas Light Display.
