Many of you may know my Grandma Bigler. She was a valiant woman. A great piano teacher, story teller, cook, and most of all MY GRANDMA! She had 10 kids and loved them all dearly. Jessica and I had the privledge of going to lunch at her house during grade school. On cold days she always had something yummy to warm us up and send us back to finish the rest of our day. She would watch me while mom and dad worked and I loved hanging out with her and Grandpa. She tried to teach me how to play the piano and til this day I regret just giving up and not finishing. She was a great pianist. She struggled many years with breast cancer and other illnesses. After her last round of Chemo they told her the cancer had doubled. She had been living with my Uncle Cleon and his wife Penny. They were great and took such good care of her. She came home to Heber I beleive this past Thursday and yesterday. She went to see her husband again.
What a great reunion it must have been. You can only imagine my Grandpa standing there with Uncle Sterling (who passed a yr before grandpa) and her twin boys Eric and Derric (who both passed shortly after birth). The hugs that were shared and laughter that took place at seeing her loved ones again. She then would also get to see her Parents and siblings who passed on before her. She will also get to see the Grandchildren that have passed and get to hug my dear sister.
Even though it is hard not having her around. Knowing whenever I go to her house she will not be sitting in that brown lazy boy watching the ball game or waiting just for someone to come and visit. I loved her dearly and it is sad my baby will not know her, but I can always share my memories. The fun times I had. I was also lucky enough to get her on video telling stories of Grandpa and Dad. Also some of the other kids. It is something that I will cherish always. I love you Grandma and will try to live my life in a way that one day we will be reunited for Eternity!
